Through the management of the Governement Pension Fund Norway, Folketrygdfondet is a major investor at the Oslo Stock Exchange. It is important for us to take an ownership responsibility in companies we are invested in, both to ensure financial values and to contribute to a well functioning financial market.
We are anxious to be open about how we excercise our ownership. To demonstrate this, we publish an ownership report annually describing the ownership principles the board has stipulated for the excercise of the ownership, the work that has been done and the experience gained.
